Here is my One Click Root and UnRoot solution for ALL HTC Devices.

Note that the Insecure Boot.img method is for all devices but requires S-OFF and your Insecure Boot.img MUST have 'ro.secure' set to '0' and not use a patched adbd binary.

The Universal Exploit should work for all devices as long as you are running a FULL Stock ROM including recovery.

The Universal Exploit WILL however fail if it has been patched by HTC on the Stock ROM you are using.

Notes:

• Please do NOT run the hack step if you are already S-OFF AND are running a custom ROM. It’s pointless, and while it won’t brick you, you can get jammed up a bit. This is for stock devices only.

• I can’t believe that so many people are asking where the effen manual is. THE EFFEN MANUAL IS IN THE EFFEN HACK KIT.
• This kit should work fine on HTC Inspire and HTC Desire HD Software versions below 3.06.405.1 which require the radio/kernel downgrade before a root exploit is available.

Windows Prep:

• IMPORTANT – disable all malware (Antivirus detection etc) detection before unarchiving the hack kit. Keep it off thoughout the hack kit processes. Many Windows malware detection programs report false positives, deleting or binding critical files required by the process.
• IMPORTANT – Remove or disable all services and daemons you can, particulary anything Apple, blackberry, PDAnet, Microsoft Mobile, anything USB not required for this task, any resource hogs. Also disconnect all un-needed USB devices and USB HUBs.
• Remove HTC Sync and drivers.
• Only after completing the above steps, install the drivers contained in the Hack Kit (see the Effen Manual) BEFORE plugging in the phone.
• Connect the phone to the computer via a USB port connected to the system board – not a front panel port or a hub or extention port.
• Verify successful android device driver installation in device manager.

Issues during downgrade:

• IMPORTANT: BEFORE SWITCHING FROM DISK DRIVE TO CHARGE ONLY MODE, ALWAYS EJECT THE SDCARD WITH PC SOFTWARE TO FLUSH WRITE BUFFERS AND AVOID CORRUPTING THE SDCARD.
• model ID incorrect update fail – this is because your goldcard is not working.
• READ THE EFFEN MANUAL. Reading is fundamental.

Step 1: Updating your bootloader

• First of all, we need to unlock your devices bootloader. To do this, first of all we need to get your phones version number.  
• Go to Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software Information > More. Keep note of the Kernel Version.

• Now go to HTCDev.com and Register for an account.
• Once registered, go to the home page of HTCDev.com and select Unlock Bootloader.
• On the right of this page, select the HTC Wildfire S on the dropdown box and Click Unlock Bootloader.
• Accept all the long disclaimer messages, and click proceed to install instructions.
• Now, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Find the ROM which has the same number as the kernel version you noted down before and download it. If you cannot find your ROM scroll to the bottom of this post. For example, mine was 2.13.401.3 so I downloaded the HTC EU one.
• Once it has downloaded, plug in your phone, make sure USB debugging is enabled and open the file you just downloaded from HTCDev.
• Now, follow the on screen instructions. It should be fairly easy.
• Once it's done Congratulations! You have updated your bootloader.

Step 2: Unlocking your bootloader

• Now we need to unlock your bootloader. 
• Make sure it has finished updating the bootloader. Now, remove the battery from your phone and put it back in. Also unplug your phone from your PC.
• Go back to the HTC Dev page with the list of downloads. At the bottom of that page, click Proceed to Step 1. Go to the bottom of the page again and click proceed to 5 and then ONCE again to Proceed to Step 8. If you are confused just click here to go to the page I am talking about. We are going to need this page later, so leave it for now.
• Now, Press the power button on your smartphone and the Volume Down button at the same time. It should load up a white menu.
• Using the volume buttons, highlight "Fastboot" and press the power button to select it.
• Now, plug in your phone to your computer and make sure on the screen it says "Fastboot USB"
• Make sure you have downloaded and extracted the RAR file to C:\Android at the start of the post. If not download here.
• Press the Windows Key + R at the same time on your PC. A run dialogue will pop up.
• Type in CMD and press Enter. Once CMD Loads, type in "CD C:\Android" without the quotes.
• Now on CMD type "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" without the quotes. It will show a bunch of code.
• Now, right click the end of the text and click mark. Highlight everything from <<< Identifier Token Start >>> to <<< Identifier Token End >>> and Press Ctrl + C.
• Now, go back to the HTCDev page. Scroll to the bottom of the page and paste your code in the box at the bottom and click submit.
• You will receive and email with a file attached. Download the attachment and place it in your C:\Android folder.
• Once it has downloaded, go to the CMD Window and type "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" without quotes. 
• Now on your phone, confirm that you want to unlock your bootloader. Use the volume buttons to go up and down and use the Power button to select. Make sure you select confirm!
• Your bootloader is unlocked! Exit this menu and launch your phone as usual.

How to use Superboot - Windows, Linux and OSX

2. memory card ကို FAT32 format ရိုက္ထား ပါ.
3. SD card ထဲကို PG76IMG.zip ဖိုင္ကူးထည္႕ပါ .
4. ဖုန္း settings ထဲက Fast Boot ပိတ္ပါ (Settings > Power > Disable Fastboot)
5. ဖုန္းပါ၀ါ ပိတ္လိုက္ပါ ။
6.  "power" နဲ႔ "volume down" ခလုပ္ ကို ဖိထား ပါ ။ HBOOT တက္လာပါမယ္။
7. ဘာမွမလုပ္ ပဲ ေစာင္႔ ေနပါ .Update လုပ္မလား ေမးလာရင္  OK (volume up) to start the flashing process ဆို ေပၚလာရင္ vol upႏိုပ္ ေပး လိုက္ပါ။
8. အားလံုး ၿပီးရင္ ဖုန္း ကို ပိတ္လိုက္ပါ ။
9. Let Android boot and delete the PG76IMG.zip file from your SD card via USB.

3. "power" နဲ႔ "volume down" ခလုပ္ ကို ဖိထား ပါ ။ HBOOT တက္လာပါမယ္။  "RECOVERY" ထဲထပ္၀င္လိုက္ ပါ ။
4. recovery ထဲေရာက္ရင္ "install zip from sd card" ကိုေရြးပါ.
5. ၿပီးေတာ႔ "choose zip from sd card" .
6. ၿပီးေတာ႔ ထည္႔ထားတဲ႔ "root.zip"ဖိုင္ကို ေရြး ပါ။
7. "YES".

1. Make sure you have ADB installed on your computer .

2. You need to Download the fastboot.zip on your computer first .Then, extract the zip file and you will get the fastboot folder.

3. Now after that download the recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.3.1-endeavoru.img file on your computer.

4. Move the recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.3.1-endeavoru.img file to the fastboot folder . Now you will have 5 files in the fastboot folder . Like this in the screenshot below :


Nga pala boss baka magtaka po kau kung bakit may Unlock_code sa loob ng picture ung po ang unlock ng bootloader ko nakalimutan ko lng na delete ok po if andoon ung file kc ang icocommand u naman po ung recovery.img so walang problem ung boss

5. Now you have to go in fastboot mode , To Go to fastboot mode Turn off your HTC One X , Now Press and hold the Volume down + Power button . Then select fastboot mode from there using the volume buttons to navigate and power button to select .

6.Connect the Your HTC One X to your Computer.

7.Go to command prompt : Start> Accessories> command prompt. and navigate to where you extracted fastboot with “cd” . In my case it is c drive .

Once installations is complete , type fastboot reboot on command prompt to reboot your HTC ONE X . now pwde na po kau mag install ng custom firmware

Root HTC explorer

I decided to create a clean tutorial (as the method started with several bugs and issues) for those who want to root their HTC explorer.
will be editing it as new improvements appear.

btw, this will NOT change anything in your phone, it just make root access possible, if you want overclock and ext-2/3/4 partitions posible look here once you finish rooting with this tutorial.


1. Install HTC Sync on your PC

you can download it from: www.htc.com/www/help/htc-explorer/#download
(needed so computer recognises commands)


2. Unlock your phone's bootloader

- Following the steps in www.htcdev.com/bootloader

Note: HTC Explorer isn´t listed as a working device yet but it has been tested and works perfectly. Choose "all other supported models" when selecting device.


3. Add a recovery

That will allow you to install .zip ROMs. You can access to it in the menu android phones have when booting the phone after removing-inserting the battery and pressing "volume down" and "power" buttons simultaneously. (Other phones have different button combinations).

- Download A310E Recovery.zip
- extract it in any window on your PC (ie: C:\HTC)
- run the recovery.bat with phone in fastboot mode (first option in the "3 android menu" ) and connected with usb.

Note: I edited the recovery.bat and removed any unnecessary commands so no errors occur

Done! You got the recovery installed if no errors, you can now install any compatible .zip ROM or app.


4. ROOT the device

- Place this Superuser.zip file somewhere in the microSD first.
- Go into Recovery mode ("volume down" + "power")
- install Superuser.zip with the option "install .zip from sd" from the recovery menu.

Note: after rooting dont restore to factory setting if you don´t want to end up in a bootloop, if this or similar happens the only solution yet (fully functional) is installing this Asian rom or this Custom rom by me. Make a backup first and wipe cache and rom partition with the option in the recovery menu. With the Asian rom everything runs perfect with the disadvantage that only English and Chinese is available. once rooted my advice is to install "link2sd". Excellent application after making a fat32 partition of your SD with programs like MiniTool partition wizard

It moves all applications directly to the SD when configuring it in automatic mode. (the entire application, not like the inbuilt phone option). See post # 9 for instructions.

Installing HTC One X All-In-One Toolkit

1. Download the HTC One X all-in-one toolkit from here (One_X_All-In-One_Kit_v1.0.rar, 44.7 MB). Do not alter the name of the file.
2. Use an extracting tool to extract One_X_All-In-One_Kit_v1.0.rar to your computer. NOTE: To make sure that this toolkit works, extract the One_X_All-In-One_Kit_v1.0.rar directly to drive C:\ or any directory on your computer. If saved to drive C:\, the extracted files should be located at C:\One_X_All-In-One_Kit_v1.0.
3. Navigate to the HTC One X all-in-one toolkit folder.
4. Launch the toolkit by clicking One X.exe.

Using the HTC One X All-In-One Toolkit

Unlocking the Bootloader

You can unlock your phone’s Bootloader by following these steps:

1. Launch the HTC One X all-in-one toolkit.
2. Click Install HTC Drivers and press GO to install the required drivers to your computer.
3. Click Register at HTCDev and press GO. This will direct you to the HTC Development page. Make an account and log-in.
4. Use your USB cable to connect your phone to the computer and get your phone’s Token ID by selecting Get Token ID and press Go. A command prompt will appear, displaying your phone’s Token ID. Highlight and copy the entire Token ID. NOTE: To copy your Token ID, click the right mouse button on the command prompt window. A pop-up menu will appear. Select Mark and highlight the Token ID. After highlighting the entire Token ID, press the right mouse button to copy it.
5. Select Submit Token ID and submit your Token ID to HTC Development site. You will receive a file named Unlock_Code.bin via your email. Download the file and save it to the Data folder found inside the HTC One X all-in-one toolkit folder.
6. Select Unlock Bootloader and click Go to begin unlocking your phone’s bootloader.

Flashing Recovery Modes

Once you have successfully unlocked the phone’s bootloader, you can now proceed to flashing custom/stock recovery on your mobile phone.

1. Connect your phone to the computer using the USB cable.
2. Launch One X.exe.
3. Under the Recovery section, select your desired recovery. You can select any of the following:

4. Once you have made your choice, click Flash Recovery to begin flashing the selected recovery image to your mobile phone.

Performing Commands

The HTC One X all-in-one toolkit also lets you instantly perform the following commands:

Select the desired command and click Do Command.

Permanent Root

To gain permanent root access, perform the following steps:

1. Connect your phone to the computer via the USB cable.
2. Launch One X.exe.
3. Under the Commands section, select Boot into Recovery and click Do Command. Wait until your phone boots into Recovery Mode.
4. Under the Extras section, select Perm Root (GB/ICS) and click Run.
5. The toolkit will automatically flash the necessary files to gain permanent root access on your mobile phone.

Rooting HTC Sensation

The HTC Sensation is a multimedia smartphone that’s undeniably one of the hottest Android devices out there. For some enthusiasts and ‘superusers,’ the HTC Sensation isn’t that “sensational” until they have rooted it.
Now, if you want to become a ‘superuser,’ follow this quick and easy guide to permanently root your HTC Sensation.

Required Files

Download the following files and save them to your computer:

• Revolutionary: S-OFF & Recovery Tool (Download from its website)
• HTC fastboot drivers. Download the drivers and install them on your computer.
• ClockworkMod Recovery 4
• su-2.3.6.3-ef-signed.zip

Gaining S-OFF Using Revolutionary: S-OFF & Recovery Tool

Revolutionary: S-OFF & Recovery Tool is your best friend when it comes to unlocking the bootloader (S-OFF) and recovery of your device. Once installed on your phone, it will allow you to root it easily, explore various ROMs, and freely install custom kernels. Follow the steps below to enable S-OFF on your HTC Sensation.

1. You may need to temporarily deactivate your antivirus and/or firewall software, as some security programs (e.g., Norton Antivirus) flag the Revolutionary: S-OFF & Recovery Tool as malware, even if it actually isn’t.
2. Take note of your device’s serial number. Pull out your phone’s battery and take a look at the label inside the battery compartment. Your handset’s serial number should be printed there, usually beside the label “S/N”.
3. Find out the HBOOT version on your handset. With your phone turned off, press the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. The device will boot to a white screen showing device information, including the HBOOT version. Take note of the HBOOT version number and reboot your phone after doing so.
4. Go to the Revolutionary: S-OFF & Recovery Tool website and download the appropriate package for your platform (i.e., Linux or Windows). As soon as the package starts downloading, you will be redirected to a “Beta Key” form. Fill in the form with your device’s serial number and HBOOT version number. Press the “Generate Key” button to get your beta key. Take note of this beta key. You will be needing it when you run the Revolutionary tool.
   
5. By this time, the package file for the Revolutionary tool should have finished downloading. Extract the files into one folder on your computer’s hard drive.
6. Enable “USB Debugging” from the Settings » Applications » Development screen on your handset.
7. Connect the HTC Sensation to your computer via USB cable. When asked for a connection type, choose “HTC Sync” and just ignore warning messages saying your phone could not find HTC Sync.
8. Launch the Revolutionary tool (revolutionary.exe). A command prompt window will open and will ask you for the beta key.
9. Type or copy-and-paste the beta key for Revolutionary into the command prompt window. The beta key is case-sensitive. Press Enter to allow the tool to proceed.
10. Wait a little bit for Revolutionary to enable S-OFF and unlock the rewritable NAND on your handset.

After the process is complete, you will also have ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your phone. However, in some instances, the recovery image does not get installed. If this is the case, manually install ClockworkMod Recovery as described in the next section. Otherwise, skip to the next section on rooting your HTC Sensation permanently.

Installing ClockworkMod Recovery 4 on Your HTC Sensation

Before you can permanently root your HTC Sensation, you need first to install ClockworkMod Recovery 4 on it. Usually, ClockworkMod Recovery also gets installed after you have successfully activated S-OFF on your device. But in some cases, it doesn’t.
ClockworkMod Recovery is a custom recovery for Android devices that enables you to execute several advanced recovery, restoration, installation, and maintenance operations that you can’t do using the stock recovery. It also allows you to flash unsigned files based on .zip packages and flash custom ROMs very easily.
To install ClockworkMod Recovery 4 on your HTC Sensation, follow these steps:

1. Download ClockworkMod Recovery from the link provided above.
2. Copy the PG58IMG file to the root of your SD card (i.e., the main folder of your SD card).
3. Turn off the phone and reboot into the bootloader/HBOOT screen. To do that, disable the fast boot option first in Settings > Applications > Fast boot, then press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons at the same time.
4. Once in bootloader mode, the phone will automatically detect the new file and will ask you if you wish to start the update. Press the Volume Up button to accept.
5. Once the file is flashed, simply reboot your phone.
6. As soon as the device has rebooted, delete the file from the SD card or rename it to something else, otherwise each time you attempt to go into bootloader, the phone will prompt you to install that file.

You should now have ClockworkMod Recovery 4 on your HTC Sensation. Now, you’re ready to permanently root your HTC Sensation.

Rooting HTC Sensation Permanently

1. Turn off your device and reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery. (Disable the fast boot option first in settings then press and hold Volume down button while pressing Power at the same time. You will be in the bootloader mode where you can select Recovery to enter ClockworkMod Recovery.)
   
2. While in Recovery, create a Nandroid backup by navigating to Backup & Restore > backup.
3. If you have created a backup already, select “Install zip from sdcard” option, then select “Choose zip from sdcard”.
4. Select su-2.3.6.3-ef-signed.zip from the list. Then choose “Yes – install su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip” to install it.
5. Once installation is complete, reboot your handset.

You have now fully rooted your HTC Sensation. Your next possible step is to install a custom ROM and get rid of the stock ROM. There are various ROMs from many developers – one of the popular and trusted ones is no other than the CyanogenMod 7. Go ahead and take your HTC Sensation for a spin. You are now in full control of it.
